Dr. Kothai Priya Raguraman (Dr Priya)
Dr. Kothai Priyadarshani Raguraman (Dr. Priya) graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery, The Tamil Nadu Dr Mgr Medical University, India in 1999. Following graduation, Dr. Priya worked in India before moving to Australia in 2006. She has worked in several hospitals in North Queensland including Rockhampton before moving into General Practice. Dr. Priya was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2014. She has been practicing at Doctors @ Logan Central since 2014.
Dr. Priya has keen interest in Women’s and Children’s Health, Chronic Disease Management, Mental Health, Skin Checks and family health.
Dr Priya is also fluent in Hindi, Tamil and Telegu.
Dr. Suranji Gallage
Dr. Suranji Gallage graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery from University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka in 2006. Following graduation, she worked in Sri Lanka and moved to Australia in 2008. She worked at Rockhampton, QE2 Jubilee and Redland hospitals in a range of specialties. She joined general practice in 2014 as a GP registrar and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioner in 2015. She commenced practicing at Doctors @ Logan Central in 2016.
Her professional interests are women’s health and paediatrics.
Dr. Gallage is also fluent in Sinhalese.
Dr. Mohammed Abdul Latif
Dr. Mohammed Abdul Latif graduated with a Bachelor o Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery from Chittagong University Bangladesh in 1990. Following graduation, Dr. Latif worked in Bangladesh. He migrated to Australia in 2004 and commenced work at Logan Hospital before moving to Lismore New South Wales as a General Practitioner in 2008. Dr. Latif was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2014. He has been practicing at Doctors @ Logan Central since 2016.
Dr. Latif has keen interests in Family Medicine, Child Health, Geriatics and Chronic Disease Management, Skin Biopsies, Mental Health and carries out minor procedures including insertion and removal of implanon.
Dr. Latif is also fluent in Bengali and speaks Urdu.
Dr. Tasawar Aslam
MBBS, M.Med, FRACGP, Dip (OH), DAME
Dr. Tasawar Aslam is from Pakistan and graduated from Punjab Medical College Faisalabad, Punjab University, Lahore, Pakistan in 1993 and has been practicing medicine since. He obtained his Fellowship of RACGP in 2014. He has been practicing in Australia since 2003 after moving here. Prior to that he worked in Pakistan, Zambia and Seychelles.
Dr Aslam has special interests in Occupational Health (Aviation Medicine, Diving Medicine Occupational Health/Work Comp), Skin Cancer (All sorts of Flaps/Skin grafts , Wedge Resection of ear, Wedge Resection of Lips), General Surgery (Lips tie, Tongue tie ,Excision of oral Lesions/Cysts , All sorts of lumps /Bumps excision , Wedge resection ingrowing Toe nail, Anal Tags excision), Urology (Circumcision –all ages, Vasectomy) Gynae & Obs (Mirena Removal/Insertion , Implanon insertion) amongst General Medicine.
Dr Aslam speaks English, Punjabi and Urdu.
Dr. Balachandra Rao Chundru (Dr. Bala)
Dr. Bala is from India and graduated Doctor of Medicine in 1986. He obtained his fellowship with the The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2013. He has worked extensively in the UK and Ireland prior to moving to Australia and has special interests in skin issues and excisions, Men’s Health and Children’s Health.
Dr Bala is a qualified surgeon.
